Nature overcoming barriers; a cross-border look at native flora and friendship with Dan Watman

BUILD THAT PARK!

Broadcast live from the Binational Friendship Garden of Native Plants at the San Diego/Tijuana border, Garden founder and coordinator Dan Watman provides an orientation as to the history, purpose, and future of the garden over the course of three Saturdays, each with slightly varying content. Learn more about the garden including: how it's made up of three circles that connect through the border wall inside Friendship Park, how the Garden restores native flora and builds a cross border community around the importance of nature, see samplings of the native flora that can be found throughout the Tijuana estuary binational watershed, and learn how you may participate in the process. To see tomorrow's presentation live, sign up here, or send a note to Dan at dan.watman@gmail.com.
